Since starting in 1995, KEA has developed in to a multi faceted tourism operator comprising KEA Campers Australia, KEA Campers New Zealand and KEA Manufacturing New Zealand and Australia. KEA also has shareholdings in a fibre glass and a coach building company and a franchised operation in Southern Africa.

The company has 14 depots located in Auckland (New Zealand HQ), Christchurch, Sydney (Australian HQ), Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and South Africa.
